Had the privilege of playing at the DHDC!

Whew...

I just wrapped up helping get the first phase of the new space galleries built out at the Don Harrington Discovery Center.

This place has been part of my life for a long time. From playing here as a kid, to a stint managing exhibits 15 years ago, to helping bring robots in and solving the occasional creative problem, it just seems to vibrate at a frequency that lines up with mine.

Coming back to build again, this time as a specialized contractor, still felt like picking up an old conversation where it left off.

As an added bonus... These galleries are all about space. I’m a HUGE space nerd, if you didn't know. I have the quasar map from the Voyager gold records tattooed on my chest. I'm THAT kind of nerd

Working on these new galleries was just straight up fun. And exhausting. It was a hustle. But along with that, it was familiar in the best kind of way.

Big thanks to Wendy, Ashley, and the whole DHDC crew for the trust. Brandon Roth’s design was smart and joyful and the kind of thing that’s fun to build. Jeremy Marshall brought some mad skills to the table. And Morgan Key and Harold Breeden stepped in and helped get it done.

Feels good to put my skills to work in a place that’s always inspired my curiosity.

And still does.

If you haven't been in a while, go check it out. We're gearing up for phase 2, so the changes are just beginning!
