About Me
I’m Jacob Breeden—a sculptor, designer, educator, consultant, and entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience building creative systems and experiences.
I earned a BFA in Sculpture from the University of North Texas and started my career as Education Director at the Amarillo Museum of Art. From there, I moved into building exhibits at the Don Harrington Discovery Center and fundraising for High Plains Public Radio.
In 2011, I co-founded Process Art House, a full-service art studio and business incubator. I’ve since launched Modern Creator, a fabrication and design studio, and helped build the High Plains Institute for Arts & Ecology and The Collective Heritage Lab.
My creative practice includes hundreds of works sold and commissioned around the world. I’ve built immersive installations for festivals like Burning Man and Glastonbury, as well as hospitals, museums, and public spaces across Texas. My projects often cross disciplines—mixing sculpture, furniture, design, and storytelling.
Recognition includes the 2024 Texas Tech Accelerator $25,000 grant, the 2014 WTAMU Enterprise Center $100,000 EnterPrize Challenge, Top Twenty Under Forty, Top Amarillo Small Business, and completion of the SBA Emerging Leaders program. I continue to serve on public art and civic committees committed to building better communities through creative action.
